Cohosh Black (Black Snake Root)

Native Americans have been using this herb as a medicine to help with childbirth, irregular cycles and menopause. Cohash means rough which refers to the knobby parts of the root that are most useful. Black Cohosh or Black Snakeroot is used in a lot of Hoodoo spells to help with protection and breaking hexes. It can be sprinkled around a room to ward off negative influences. It can be used in a bath to break and remove hexes and unwanted attention. It can be used in a tea to cleanse and protect and area and especially clear doorways of homes and businesses. It can be worn in a pouch to help with love and virility.  In a purple sachet it can protect one from accidents and wrongdoing from others.
