Copal (White)

White Copal is a natural tree resin that is between the two states of a hardened resin and sap which comes from the Buresa family of trees that is native to Mexico, Guetamala and parts of South and Central America, It was Historically used by the Mayans and Aztecs in rituals on top of their pyramids for their Gods. The God Tlaloc and the Goddess Chalchiuhtlicue are two of these deities and they represent the energies of fertility and creation. White copal was medicinally used to clear the body of disease and to repel mosquitoes. As an energy tool by burning it while meditating it deepens your awareness and encourages purity of thought.
